Community tracks

Code of conduct

The unwritten rules, written down, for everyone who drives or publishes community tracks with NavX4. Four points that count more on the ground than any map.

  1. Stay on the track. Use only recognisable routes that are permitted by signs and map data. Never bypass closures.
  2. Leave no trace. Take waste with you, avoid unnecessary damage and adapt your driving to the surface and weather.
  3. Slow down near homes. Reduce speed and noise in settlements and near houses, and be considerate of other people.
  4. Respect wildlife. Keep your distance, avoid unnecessary noise and stop the drive if animals are endangered or clearly disturbed.

The driver remains responsible for the vehicle, the route and compliance with local rules.

When you publish or adopt a community track in the browser planner, these rules appear as a short reminder; the Android app shows it in the same places with its next update.
